GET those hiking boots on this week, and join Matthew and his MENTONE GRAMMAR schools mates on a foto trek through the lush tropical growth in the Cambodian jungles. Stop for moment as we gaze on a mystic veiled waterfall, imagining the thundering crescendo of tumbling water. Pause and ponder the beauty to be found by the path and the undergrowth.
WWCMD14-MB1. Above. The tall timbers of a majestic rainforest reach towards the blue sky through their canopy of leaves. From the ground level, the eye follows a wandering path through the jungle. A picture that inspires the imagination of the viewer.
WWCMD14-MB12. Like watching a documentary on a television screen, this image frames an outdoor scene featuring the countryside that the group travelled through on their epic journey in search of knowledge.WWCMD14-MB2. Forgive the pun, but this image (one of Matthews favourites) leaves nothing to the imagination. The mossy leaves growing on the side of a tree create a vivid tapestry in the jungle setting.
WWCMD14-MB7 The noise of the jungle is overshadowed by the roar of the river as it sharply drops over the the edge into the depths of the gorge below. They arrived there as part of a 30 k hike, and he still had the energy to find this beauty.
WWCMD14-MB19. It must be amazing to walk down a track to suddenly come upon a building from a bygone era in a clearing surrounded by dense jungle as seen here. Matthew;s photo captures all the elements of the jungle and riverbed.
BE SURE TO CHECK BACK IN THE COMING WEEKS TO SEE MORE IMAGES FOR YOURSELF.

SEPTEMBER JUNIOR OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS WORKED HARD TO COME UP WITH MORE SUPER SHOTS THROUGHOUT THE MONTH.
It was a busy time for the Kids With Cameras who wore the official badge to Tesselaar’s Tulip Festival and the Royal Melbourne Show during the school holidays. And the best news is that they came up with the goods providing more potential SUPER SHOTS. The best of these will go on show here on focusfor during November. We thank both organizations for offering the FREE PASSES to the events and giving the KWC the chance to add them to their camera challenge.
FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras TAKE ON THE TASK OF LOOKING FOR SUPER SHOTS ON INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS.
Many of you who have been following and making POSTS Of PRAISE for Madeleine Puli know what these Kids With Cameras can achieve. In November, you will see the works of Matthew Bory featured throughout the month while on a school trip to Cambodia. He travelled there with classmates from Mentone Grammar School and returned with some images as mementos of his time away.
WHAT’S COMING UP FOR JUNIOR OFFICIAL PHOTOGARPHERS FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR.
As the months and days count down, not only a busy school time lies ahead but also for opportunities for the Kids With Cameras. This includes the Melbourne Cup Carnival with the chance to wear a JOP on Kids Day on the final Saturday. There will be lots to cover with the camera. On November 11, we stop for a minute of silence on Remembrance day. This year is especially significant as we lead up to the centenary of the landing of Gallipoli. In Melbourne, the Myer Christmas window light up and KWC can have the fun of wearing the badge there. And this will see the launch of the FIND FESTIVITY IMAGES for the Christmas season. First time last year we hope to have a large and statewide collection this year.
FOCUS FORCE IS GRATEFUL FOR THE SUPPORT from these HARVEY NORMAN PHOTO CENTERS (Q V) Melbourne, Fountain Gate, Albury, Watergardens, Bendigo, Frankston, Hamilton, Werribee and City West in Perth. We reccomend that that you make it the place to get everything from cameras to batteries to be prepared for the task.http://www.harveynorman.com.au/
