BOYUP BROOK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GO WILD OVER THE FLOWERS THEY DISCOVERED THROUGH THE CAMERA LENS.

Standard

BOYUP BROOK High School year 10 students headed to the fields of wildflowers scattered amongst the trees in a native bush reserve. The experienced group doing photography as an elective were super eager to find their own SUPER SHOTS for the Blooming Wild DRUG AWARE FLORA FOTO FEST Exhibition to be held in November when the BEST OVERALL CHOICES will be announced at the SHOWCASE EXHIBITION. Keep an eye out for more.

This intrepid group took to the bush like second nature and tread in the footsteps of the FOCUS FORCE Kids at heart with Cameras who searched the same patch the week before. But, like the ever-changing pattern of the environment there were new blooms facing up to the sun. We thank Daly from the Boyup Brook Shire who remained enthusiastic throughout both workshops, and spent the extra time honing up on his own skills.

Students work as a team to create a Viewpoint image for the Blooming Wild DRUG AWARE Flora Foto Fest.

This Boyup Brook high school student went to great heights to survey the scene in his search for his potential SUPER SHOT idea for the VistaView category. FOCUS FORCE wonders whether he rose to the occasion.
Who’s giving who advice in this shot? FOCUS FORCE is sure it just a case of Daley, doing a good deed and comparing ideas with the student. And, that’s a good outcome.

GREENBUSHES Kids With Cameras TAKE A PEEK IN THEIR BACKYARD.

Standard

Or, to be more precise, and say the local park across the road from the school. It was a morning of adventure and exploration as they opened their eyes and aimed their cameras.

From Bridgetown in the morning working with the home-schoolers, a quick trip found the program being presented to the early grades at another small rural school. Here the Kids With Cameras were told they were part of the FOCUS FORCE and they would be participating in the project to find SUPER SHOTS for the DRUG AWARE FLORA FOTO FEST for the Blooming Wild festival. Only Pre-school and 1 – 2’s KWC were there for this session, and they have been the first because of time restraints to go out and take the first shot. They went to the local park; and told to look at at it as they have never have before. Here is a sample of what they found. Come back and see what you think. You are welcome to send a POST of PRAISE and make them feel good about themselves.

Blossoming blues and yellows create a Spring delicacy by a mysterious FOCUS FORCE KWC.

The first Monday of the second week saw the project return to the home-schoolers of Bridgetown, and weren’t they into it! Here are some of the early images found to be hiding in the bush, and their eagle eyes were on the search. FOCUS FORCE is sure that you are going to be inspired by them, and we can hear the gasps of wow already breaking the silence. So much so, we look forward to seeing the POSTS Of PRAISE starting to roll in. Being amongst the first.

Bright yellow flowers bloom amongst the leavcs and broken branches of the bush floor. Well found by Lennix.

What a lovely image by Lucy, lovely positioning and softened background.

Like a collection of butterflies fluttering through the tranquil bush setting, another well composed image that is a pleasure to view. Lilee can take a bow.

The stunning glory of this image with a contrast between sharp and muted purple wildflowers spread throughout the bush. Clay will be delighted.
