Fridays always have a lot on the mind for FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras, and the first Friday of the month even more so. There’s so much to be revealed, and this one certainly has it’s share. The FOCUS FORCE camera crew may be small, but they are energetic and enthusiastic. You can see by the submissions from last month! And with a few more sitting on the sidelines waiting to get into the camera action, you can oly sit and hold your breath waiting to see what will appear next. So jump on and join the exhilarating ride.

FOCUS FORCE KWC JUNIOR OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS FOTO OPS COMING UP IN SEPTEMBER.

Springs on the horizon and with it the September school holidays. FOCUS FORCE is working towards some mind-blowing foto  ops for the KWC starting off with the Tesselaar Tulip Festival which will see the best of your SUPER SHOT works chosen to be included in the ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION & AWARDS at next years Melbourne Garden Show. And, there’s more being arranged to fill in the holiday break. So, get ready for it, and build up those REWARD POINTS to make yourself eligible.

STACEY READY TO MAKE A DOUBLE CLAIM ON THE SURPRIZE TREASURE CHEST.

Stacey F of Portland made her presence felt last month taking of both the FFF and the TOP SCORE giving her the chance to go to the box and make her claim. On the other side of the coin, Victoria B increased her numbers significantly, and with them can also make a move on the chest. So, it’s going to be an  interesting week coming up. Ant, of course they can put them on hold.

  AUGUST 20 – 26 IS CHILDREN’S BOOK WEEK.

Every year in August the CHILDRENS BOOK WEEK promotes the latest and best for young ones to focus their eyes and minds on. This year is particularly front and centre with the recent release of the awesome spellbinding HARRY POTTER scripture by KR. ROWLING. I’m sure many of you are already well and truly into it’s page. This years theme is; STORY COUNTRY and FOCUS FORCE encourages you to put on your thinking hats and create a cover for a book  to  fit the theme. It’s all up to you, and 500 REWARD POINTS for the best submission. Closes August 30.

The FOCUS FORCE photographic workshop program for Kids With Cameras is based in Melbourne, Australia. The projects have gone beyond the Victorian borders, into New South Wales, and Tasmania.Through others including a backpacker it has been provided to children in Thailand, and a teacher in Portugal has inspired children there as well. Apart, from the fun of learning about the camera and developing the skill of taking better photos; the best of which are raised to the status of SUPER SHOTS,the works have been mounted as collections under the banner of the FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP EXHIBITIONS, and sent as gifts of friendship and goodwill to the United States, Italy, Japan, China - others are still being worked on. The program enrciches the children's knowledge, and as a side benefit makes them more aware of their own surroundings,and all that is to value where they live. Then comes the delight of being achievers, and having their self esteem boosted by their successes.The term "kids with cameras" was first used by the program's forerunner; CLICKER - the "club for kids with cameras", and dates back to the mid 1980's. The name change came about as wanting to be more appropriate to the older student group that the program now works with.
