KANGAROO ISLAND FOCUS FORCE KWC FRIENDSHIP AMBASSADORS SHARE THE MOMENT WITH THE CAPTAIN OF QUEEN VICTORIA & HIS CREW.

FOFQVKI16 - FRAMB, CAPT,CE.

On a day now firmly etched into history with the arrival of the Cunard Queen Victoria on her maiden these FF KWC from the KANGAROO ISLAND COMMUNITY EDUCATION campus took the role seriously when representing their classmates, and extended their message of friendship to the ship and all aboard in an important welcome to the island. The captain,,  Peter Philpott enjoyed his time ashore, as did his crew talking and interacting with the students who performed their task with task with dignity and respect. It was a job well done, and one that I am sure that all involved, especially the Friendship Ambassadors will remember with pride. Here the group consisting of; Dylan Bunney, Ella Donaldson, Brodie Gee, Claire Harvie, Edan Dobie, and Lilah Fulton accept a gift of the QUEEN VICTORIA SHIPS PLAQUE from the captain with him telling them that it is only given on very special occasions.

FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras project coordinator Phillip Williams shakes hands with the master of the Cunard Queen Victoria at the completion of the welcoming ceremony during which the FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP ALBUM was presented. The album carrying letters from the school, the Premier of SA, the Education Minister, and state and federal members will wait on board the ship until the pages are completed with the CHOICES to be made including that of the captains.

Hello, Sailor.

FOF QVKI16 - FAMBHATS

The FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP AMBASSADORS stole the show taking centre stage when they “pirated” the hats of the crew in what FF considers a “master move”. Proudly wearing their JUNIOR OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER badges, topped with their confiscated hats they make an impressive group. A stroke of good fortune being that the number of crew that came ashore matched the number of students . Saving the potential for a mutiny. Once again, what a day to remember.

The ceremony came to a close as you would expect from the “sailors” with a rousing chorus of 3 hip hip hoorays.

MORE TO COME IN THE DAYS & WEEKS AHEAD.
