IN THIS COLLECTION taken post ANZAC DAY (APRIL 26), Misha with family in tow trekked to the city to find these images that brought back poignant memories of the past. Here, she shows you what was POPULAR the world over in signifying the day. The Poppies Of Flanders have become significant in helping us reflect on the days and the sacrifices. Add to Misha’s joy by making a POST’s Of PRAISE. She deserves them.

Part 2.
ANZPM15-MR(2)10. A poignant moment in time is captured in this unusual sign fixed to a wall, and reminds us of the day one hundred years ago. Now, like the centenary consigned to the past.
ANZPM15-MR(2)11. Crowds gather on a damp Melbourne day and gaze upon a field of poppies, marking the place in the world with a timely scape of the city, and the iconic Flinders St station looking over all. Well shot.
ANZPM15-MR(2)12. An imaginative and creative image by Misha, who would have had to get down and dirty to capture it. The background of the shot being so grey, and desolate providing an apt background to bring out the vibrant color. Note, how the foreground flowers are out of focus, becoming clearer as the camera reaches deeper into the image – and they come into focus. Then, drop out again in the back.
ANZPM15-MR(2)13. Crafted from metal, this poppy glistens in the rain with could be tears for the fallen. Finding a story for the image provides another dimension for the viewer to take in. Misha worked hard for all of these.
ANZPM15-MR(2)14. WOW – what a dramatically lit shot! An image that stops you in your tracks, and takes your breath away. This is what photography is all about, and from one so young. What else can we say? It’s up to you to make a POST Of PRAISE to lift her day. Go For It!
ANZPM15-MR(2)15. Taken from the opposite direction looking to the abstract buildings of Federation Square brings the image into today, and reflecting the modern generations. Here’s something to reflect on. How do you think the diggers would react to the Melbourne and world of today?
ANZPM15-MR(2)16. Another image reflecting the modern era with the carpeted flower steps drawing our eye to the towering monster EUREKA., another unmistakable Melbourne image. Even like the bottom border of rain-soaked tiles. I imagine shouting Eureka meaning; “I have found it”!
