FOCUS FORCE JUDGE RECOGNISED AMONGST THE WORLDS BEST.

FOCUS FORCE is in awe of judge Pete Marshall, who for the sixth time has had one of her works selected from an international entry of amazing artists from around the world for Birds in Art, USA, 2015. Her painting titled Freckled Duck Patterns has gained her acclaim in this celebrated group of artists, and you can read more on Pete’s facebook. And think, she was one of the Rockley Choicemakers.

12 MOONS FOTO PROJECT

Pete's moon 4-15 FOCUS FORCE is going to great heights to inspire Kids With Cameras this year encouraging them to aim for the month. As we all know there is a FULL MOON each month, and FF is looking for different images from around the country to show exciting contrasts of the event. At the end of the period of 12 months the best will be selected to be reproduced o a calendar. Full details in June in time for the first in July.

REWARD POINTS HAVE BEEN RACKED UP BY SISTERS FOR THE MONTH.

Lauren has got the ball rolling to increase her tally for the ROCKLEY REVIEWS 2200, while sister Madeleine is the first to gain the 100 REWARD POINTS with her submission for the FOTO OF THE WEEK. We’re still searching for a name for this challenge. Lauren’s flower fotos have been drawing POP’s this week, and will continue to do so until Saturday evening. So, theres still time to make a comment to boosting her ego. On Sunday, the next collection goes up.

ANOTHER OF THE ROCKLEY CHOICEMAKERS HAS HER WORK ABOUT TO GO ON SHOW.

Choicemaker Leanne Cole has several photographic works to go on show as part of the MELBOURNE BOAT SHOW in June. The exhibition titled ” ESSENCE OF PIERS” features all things water and associated with it when comes to boats and piers etc. Will bring you more of what to look for as we get closer to the date. Its a credit to the Kids With Cameras that they draw support from artists of such high calibre. They too, have a lot to offer in knowledge and experience, and would be a smart move to occasionaly look at their sites to see what they are up to, and what you can learn from them.

About focusfor

The FOCUS FORCE photographic workshop program for Kids With Cameras is based in Melbourne, Australia. The projects have gone beyond the Victorian borders, into New South Wales, and Tasmania.Through others including a backpacker it has been provided to children in Thailand, and a teacher in Portugal has inspired children there as well. Apart, from the fun of learning about the camera and developing the skill of taking better photos; the best of which are raised to the status of SUPER SHOTS,the works have been mounted as collections under the banner of the FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP EXHIBITIONS, and sent as gifts of friendship and goodwill to the United States, Italy, Japan, China - others are still being worked on. The program enrciches the children's knowledge, and as a side benefit makes them more aware of their own surroundings, and all that is to value where they live. Then comes the delight of being achievers, and having their self esteem boosted by their successes. The term "kids with cameras" was first used by the program's forerunner; CLICKER - the "club for kids with cameras", and dates back to the mid 1980's. The name change came about as wanting to be more appropriate to the older student group that the program now works with.
