DAY FIVE, & THE LAST OF THE ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION at this year’s Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. As usual it’s been a busy week with new recruits for the 2016 collection signing up. Some amazing talent out there.
Viewers have been busy making their decisions in the POP PIKz POLL this time with the incentive of 3 bottles of wine with a label depicting the peoples choice. A tasty offering from Victorians Grampians region.
Today some of the previous Kids With Cameras will return to the show wearing their JUNIOR OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER badges to stimulate interest around the stand, and encourage other KWC to get into the action. They will be joined by Neave Leyden and Alysha McDonald who will be both presented with their certificates. That will be a proud time for them.
throughout the day they will also go on a couple short foto walks expanding their eyes and their imagination with new ideas for SUPER SHOTS for the 2016 show.
This includes focusing on the RSL’s CENTERARY display and looking for angles to this that others may have missed. These are to be included in the FOCUS FORCE special project commemorating the event 100 years ago.
Yesterday, Misha returned to the show after being enthralled by WALKING WITH DINOSAURS. She with her Dad, Mani spent time on the stand before the arrival of TWIGZ kids gardening tools who presented her with a package to help her get her hands dirty. The Kids With Cameras will do two foto shoots including TWIGZ and another with WHIRLY WINDMILLS, possibly the forerunners of a larger project for 2015.
The day will finish with a EASTER EGG CHALLENGE with each of the attending FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras given their own egg. But, before they eat it, there is a special CAMERA CHALLENGE that could end being a huge incentive not to eat it too quickly. The entries will be required by next Wednesday at 7.00 pm.
TO ALL THOSE who have attended the ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION and been part of this years wonderful activities thank you for making it a success. We look forward to your continued involvement in 2015 and seeing your work collection grow. HAPPY EASTER.
