FRIDAY 13 – and the gremlins were busy. Somehow last weeks FOYM disappeared into the universe. For that FOCUS FORCE is disappointed as a lot of work goes into preparing them, and we know that a lot come over to see what’s happening.

MISHA HAD HER EYE ON INDIA.
Small fry Misha headed back to her parents homeland during the January summer holidays. And of course, the camera was out and about when she had the chance. One of the things she focused on one was a traditional festival there. Here is the first of the images from that, and in the coming weeks we’ll see a cover of her story while away of this event.
GARDEN SHOW PREPARATIONS HIGH ON THE AGENDA.
Things are busy with the the ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION & AWARDS only days away. With the excitement of the first ever stage announcement of award winners to be held, a special POWERPOINT presentation of finalists is being prepared by parents to add to the thrill. The CHOICES have been made for the categories, and we’re grateful to the largest collection of judges for the decisions ever to have completed the task. The plan for the exhibition space is taking shape, and enlargements of the finalists being printed carefully by HARVEY NORMAN at Melbourne’s QV.
Next Sunday, FF will announce the finalists, and the categories that they have entries in.
Letters of accreditation and advice will go out to all finalists next week with requests for tickets. FINALISTS WRIST BANDS will also be forwarded for the first day, and presentations.
A contingent of finalists have put their hands up to be on hand to collect their certificates and awards on the day, and we know that they will be supported by friends and family.
LAST WEEKEND THE WHEELS WERE SMOKIN AT ALBERT PARK.
We’ve been talking about this for weeks and now its finally here in Melbourne’ Albert Park. The eyes of the world will be focused on the scenic track all weekend as the formula ones complete circuit after circuit
EASTER; NEARLY TIME TO SNEAK OUT OF HIS BURROW
The Easter Bunny is frantically working in burrow moulding all those chocolate eggs for Kids With Cameras and others to devour in a few Sundays time. In the mewantime, FOCUS FORCE is working on a CAMERA CHALLENGE to put the imagination to the test. Watch for it! ALSO, as usual the GOOD FRIDAY ROYAL CHILDREN’S APPEAL will see the communities across the state working hard to raise money for the worthy cause. A few years ago, FOCUS FORCE made a donation to the appeal, and this year we are looking at doing the same. Keep tuned.

Anzac Day, a day of commemoration when the country, and the world ponders the lives and sacrifices of 100 years ago on distant shores. While we stop to remember, the Kids With Cameras will be encouraged to click with respect and capture the moments that will make new pages in history. The end results being perhaps a FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP be delivered to Turkey, but also to France. Also another idea make be a TIME CAPSULE, and an album of images for the Canberra War Museum. Lets have your thoughts.
CONGRATULATIONS TO FOR POST OF PRAISE.
Stacey got off to a good start with the first collection of POSTS Of PRAISE last week, and FOCUS FORCE is happy to say that BARBARA TUCKER came out of the barrel to be the winner of the collectors FLASH OF FIENDSHIP calendar. It’s in the mail. Also this week made a grand slam hiting up on the views, and adding some more POSTS Of PRAISE.
MOTORING EXPO SOON TO HIT THE SHOWGROUNDS.
Another on in the pipeline that we have been talking about here in the past weeks will happen on the same weekend as the Garden show, and we hope that we might have some tickets available for JUNIOR OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS. MARCH 28 – 29.
