FF QUINTET POISED TO FIND MELBOURNE’S CITY OF CONTRASTS.

You’re invited to follow the search in the coming weeks in Melbourne’s laneways, streets and tall buildings for a minute collection of SUPER SHOTS destined for New York, and the Big Apple. In August FOCUS FORCE Kids With Camera FRIENDSHIP AMBASSADOR venture on a trip of a lifetime with her parents to the city that never sleeps. While there she will and her dad will spend a day taking hints from a local commercial photographer. It is hoped that she will also visit a local school, THE SCHOOL OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT delivering an album of SUPER SHOTS to the students and speaking to the grade 5-6 students. This school in 2014 hosted the last FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP EXHBITION with it being launched by the then Australian Consul General to NY, Mr. Ken Allen on their Friendship day.

In her search for CITY OF CONTRASTS SUPER SHOTS she will be joined by fellow FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras Matthew, Neave Samuel and Jourdan. Throughout the day commencing with a small presentation of FREE PRINT VOUCHERS to be made by HN QV franchisee Con Georgiades they will hit the streets of the town in their quest. Part of the deal is to find SUPER SHOTS that the complement of NY places including; Fifth Avenue, Macey’s. NY City Hall, Central Park and Grand Central Station. The coupe will be the finding where Holly Golightly had breakfast. Mums and dads should know that, and grandma’s too!

The Kids With Cameras will once again to build on their REWARD POINTS having already added the traditional 100 for registering. They will be also able to double and add additional numbers by completing special tasks and requirements. Most importantly, they will be hoping for SUPER SHOTS to be included in the FRIENDSHIP ALBUM for New York. What an honor that will be. And for them tomorrow, who knows what treats may be in store. The FOCUS FORCE photographic workshop program for Kids With Cameras is based in Melbourne, Australia. The projects have gone beyond the Victorian borders, into New South Wales, and Tasmania.Through others including a backpacker it has been provided to children in Thailand, and a teacher in Portugal has inspired children there as well. Then comes the delight of being achievers, and having their self esteem boosted by their successes.The term "kids with cameras" was first used by the program's forerunner; CLICKER - the "club for kids with cameras", and dates back to the mid 1980's. The name change came about as wanting to be more appropriate to the older student group that the program now works with.
