AT LAST A REASON FOR REWARD POINTS.

YOU HAVE BEEN HOLDING ON FOR WEEKS AND HERES A START TO THE NEWS YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR.

Some of you have been watching your REWARD POINTS grow over the past weeks, and wonder where they’re all going. Well, heres a start.

EACH MONTH RESULTS FOR ASSIGNMENT OR CAMERA CHALLENGE.

On the 10th of each month, FOCUS FORCE will announce the successes for the previous months submissions. Prizes will be given in selected categories. There will be loads of different goodies to be collected as they become available. On the first of July we will publish the intended prizes for period through until the end of the year. Prizes will be initially for REWARD POINTS  up till the 30th of September.

SUPER POINTS WILL COMMENCE ON THE 30TH OF JUNE & WILL INCLUDE ROCKLEY RECOGNITIONS & MS EUROPA TAKE A BOW SUCCESSES. These are a second category of REWARD POINTS and are given when your photographs have achieved the status of SUPER SHOT. The number of SUPER POINTS that can any one SUPER (photograph) SHOT can gain will be allocated on it’s level of recognition. It will be given the basic number for a start and then can increase depending the level it reaches. This means each SUPERSHOT ,as it climbs the ladder of success  will increase it’s tally. For example it makes it to SUPER SHOT then is elevated to first in a category gaining addition SUPER POINITS. In the case of a project like the ROCKLEY AWARDS it may make it to the top of the ladder and gain ultimate points.

AT THE END OF THE YEAR..

 HERE’S THE FIRST CHALLENGE – THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF REWARD & SUPER SHOTS. This will be a combined package with first consideration being the FOCUS FORCE KWC with the HIGHEST NUMBER OF REWARD POINTS. Then the contest will go out to the ones that has the HIGHEST NUMBER OF SUPER SHOTS.

The top five from each group will be included in the SHOOTOUT, and be eligible for an exciting prize.

THE SEARCH FOR THE EAGLE EYE.

The prize to be a camera or equipment to the value of 500 Dollars.

 The highest scorers SUPER SHOTS every month including those in each category will be nominated go into a SHOOTOUT where the participants will be given a project assignment to be completed in a set time. The first one will take place in January 2015 in Melbourne.

With each project or special assignment, the HIGHEST HOLDER of SUPER POINTS  in group brackets will be announced. The FOCUS FORCE KWC will then be eligible to take part in a CAMERA CHALLENGE in January that will see them compete for a valuable prize in a FOCUS FORCE SHOOT OFF. The one that takes off the highest number of SUPER SHOTS in that will be given the title of THE EAGLE EYE for the year.

ALL THINGS COME AT A COST. That will be $20 A SEASON starting September 1. 2014 SPRING. But, the good news is until then it is free, and you are welcome to submit entries for NO COST until August 30, 2014.

HOWEVER, YOU MUST REGISTER TO TAKE PART. To do that all you need is to send your name with the intention of taking part and abiding by the rules and conditions of the FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras.

The FOCUS FORCE photographic workshop program for Kids With Cameras is based in Melbourne, Australia. The projects have gone beyond the Victorian borders, into New South Wales, and Tasmania.Through others including a backpacker it has been provided to children in Thailand, and a teacher in Portugal has inspired children there as well. Apart, from the fun of learning about the camera and developing the skill of taking better photos; the best of which are raised to the status of SUPER SHOTS,the works have been mounted as collections under the banner of the FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP EXHIBITIONS, and sent as gifts of friendship and goodwill to the United States, Italy, Japan, China - others are still being worked on. The program enrciches the children's knowledge, and as a side benefit makes them more aware of their own surroundings,and all that is to value where they live. Then comes the delight of being achievers, and having their self esteem boosted by their successes.The term "kids with cameras" was first used by the program's forerunner; CLICKER - the "club for kids with cameras", and dates back to the mid 1980's. The name change came about as wanting to be more appropriate to the older student group that the program now works with.
