FOCUS FORCE IS HEADING ACROSS THE TASMAN LOOKING FOR NEW ZEALAND’S Kids With Cameras TO JOIN IT’S RANKS.

Standard

Portuguese Kids With Cameras from overseas were the first SUPER SHOTS to be included in a FOCUS FORCE ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION, to be followed by those from Thailand working under the direction of English backpacker Louise. Now, FOCUS FORCE intends to extend beyond those with works from 3 Australian States including Qiueensland and ACT for the first time, and others from across the Tasman sea.

  •  rockley-garden-circa 1962A longtime ambition is about to be hopefully fore-filled with a visit to NEW ZEALAND by FOCUS FORCE Kids With Cameras Project coordinator Phillip Williams. In a search for aspiring Kids With Cameras and their SUPER SHOTS a series of FOTO FUN WORKSHOPS will take place. Majorly focusing on the flower images for the MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW 2014, and the FOCUS FORCE KWC ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION, the task will not only be to find pics of flowers, but a number of other fun subjects.

  •  Image shows the Rockley Garden for which the FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION & AWARDS are named after.
  • WE WILL ALSO BE ON THE SEARCH FOR SUPER SHOTS INCLUDING;

  • a fashion shoot,

  • a trip to the gardens and a

  • stroll in the streets. No project like this, would be complete without a

  • trip to the zoo.  Ideas for other projects are also in the melting pot  for the New Zealand Kids With Cameras. So now’s the time to register, and help make it happen.

The workshops are being scheduled for the last school holidays of the year in September, and as such will be there in time to catch the Spring blooms.

 RCKWIN13BDHow could you let the kid miss out on this and the chance to have their photographs selected as SUPER SHOTS, and then the thrill of having them displayed as a part of the FOCUS FORCE KWC ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO EXHIBITION at the Garden Show in March 2014?

2013 ROCKLEY FLOWER FOTO AWARD WINNER Benjamin Daniels proudly stands beside his striking image at this year’s show. A proud achievement for him.

Also plans are afoot to have the selected SUPER SHOTS to be displayed in New Zealand before their departure to Melbourne for the internationally recognised event.

FOCUS FORCE IS WORKING ON MORE EXCITING NEWS TO BE TOLD REGARDING THIS PROJECT IN THE COMING WEEKS. KEEP WATCHING & REGISTER TO BE PART OF THE EXCITEMENT.

About focusfor

The FOCUS FORCE photographic workshop program for Kids With Cameras is based in Melbourne, Australia. The projects have gone beyond the Victorian borders, into New South Wales, and Tasmania.Through others including a backpacker it has been provided to children in Thailand, and a teacher in Portugal has inspired children there as well. Apart, from the fun of learning about the camera and developing the skill of taking better photos; the best of which are raised to the status of SUPER SHOTS,the works have been mounted as collections under the banner of the FOCUS FORCE FRIENDSHIP EXHIBITIONS, and sent as gifts of friendship and goodwill to the United States, Italy, Japan, China - others are still being worked on. The program enrciches the children's knowledge, and as a side benefit makes them more aware of their own surroundings,and all that is to value where they live. Then comes the delight of being achievers, and having their self esteem boosted by their successes.The term "kids with cameras" was first used by the program's forerunner; CLICKER - the "club for kids with cameras", and dates back to the mid 1980's. The name change came about as wanting to be more appropriate to the older student group that the program now works with.
